Hillmount is an interior renovation to an existing detached home. The objective was to open up and refresh the home to suit the needs of a young, growing family. A large central stair connects all three floors, anchoring the home and helping to structure the otherwise open plan. A new entrance from the garage provides a hidden mudroom and laundry room. The rear of the house is open to the back yard with three sliding doors that provide light to the dining and family rooms.
