Lessard is a renovation and addition to an existing detached home in Toronto’s west end. A rear addition provides additional space for the common areas of the home and allows for larger second floor bedrooms, while a new third storey accommodates a master suite. Existing materials and proportions maintain a respect for the surrounding context at the exterior of the house, and new weathered steel cladding adds warmth, complementing the tones in the existing brick.
