St. Marks is a renovation and addition to an existing semi-detached home. The basement was opened up and underpinned for structural stability and better ceiling height. An existing rear walk-out was rebuilt to provide better access and natural light. The ground floor is maximised by opening up the floor plan. A new front entry vestibule addition provides a landing space upon entering the home, and large glass doors at the rear façade provide light and better access to the back yard. Upstairs, cathedral ceilings make for an airy, expansive feeling within a relatively small footprint. Natural light pours in through a skylight. A rear second storey addition provides for a new master suite with a private terrace, dressing room, and master bathroom.
